This is a story about home - a story about family and brotherhood. Between 1970 and 1972 a band of brothers used an old southern home as their base of operations. This home was called The Big House. In the midst of a magical era of musical, political, and cultural change The Big House became a sanctuary in which a unique strain of music grew and a mystical bond was established. For just a little while it’s time to leave the chaos of the world around us, to remember the music that ignored barriers, to recapture the good energy, and to celebrate brotherhood. It’s time to remember those years. It’s time to go home to the place The Allman Brothers band called The Big House.
