Dreams to Remember: The Legacy of Otis Redding

Otis Redding is captured on camera performing in a variety of locations across the globe on DREAMS TO REMEMBER. Sixteen musical performances of songs such as “Pain in my Heart” and “Try a Little Tenderness” are included, and so is the very last appearance Otis made on television, which was shot the day before his tragic death. Also featured are interviews and testimoni- als from people who knew the late soul singer, including Otis’s wife and daughter. DREAMS TO REMEMBER is a fi ne testament to this wonderfully talented musician, and has been compiled to coincide with the 40th anniversary of Otis’s death.

In the midst of a magical era of musical, political, and cultural change The Big House became a sanctuary in which a unique strain of music grew and a mystical bond was established. For just a little while it’s time to leave the chaos of the world around us, to remember the music that ignored barriers, to recapture the good energy, and to celebrate brotherhood.
