Over the last five years, the festival has seen tremendous expansion in submitted entries, quality of films accepted, hours of films screened, filmmaker participation and audience attendance. Our budget has grown from just over $9,000 in 2006 to nearly $60,000 anticipated for the 2010 event. In 2009, MAGA received a tax ID number independent of the Capitol Theatre and has a 501 (c) (3) non-profit application pending.

Macon Film Festival sponsors and marketing partners will receive a comprehensive packet of opportunities that are designed to meet their specific marketing, promotional, and sponsorship objectives. Sponsorships may be in the form of cash sponsorships or in in-kind donations of products and services or media and promotional assets.
